What we collect, and what we never ask for.
Who we are. This website is operated by Everyday Digital Products ("we", "us"), which sells its products under the brand Everyday Design Company. Everyday Digital Products is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: info@everydaydesigncompany.com.
Data we collect and why. (a) Account data — email address, password (stored securely hashed) or Google sign-in identifier — to create and secure your account (legal basis: performance of a contract). (b) Order data — your email, products bought, order date and status — to deliver your purchase, provide download access and handle refunds (contract; legal obligation for record keeping). (c) Support messages you send us — to answer you (contract; legitimate interests). (d) Technical data — IP address, browser and device information, and server logs — to keep the site secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests). We do not request, transmit or store your Pressure Check answers; you complete the PDF privately on your own device. Please do not send sensitive health information by email.
Who we share it with. Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of products, payment processing, tax compliance and invoicing (Paddle handles your payment details under its own privacy notice); our hosting, database and email delivery providers, acting as processors on our instructions; professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed; and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers. Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
Retention. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request. Order records are kept for as long as needed for tax and accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years). Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, email info@everydaydesigncompany.com; we respond within one month.
Security. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls that limit each account to its own orders, and signed, expiring download links.
Cookies. We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and to run checkout. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser settings; doing so signs you out.
The agreement between you and Everyday Digital Products.
Who you are contracting with. This website and its products are provided by Everyday Digital Products, trading as Everyday Design Company. When you buy or use our products you are entering into an agreement with Everyday Digital Products.
Acceptance. By using this website, creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract, or have authority to bind the organisation you represent.
The product and your licence. Our products are downloadable educational PDF resources. A purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and keep one copy for your own non-commercial use. You may not share, resell, publish, redistribute or remove notices from the materials.
Intellectual property. Everyday Digital Products owns and retains all rights in the website, the products, their content, documentation and branding. No rights are granted except the licence above.
Acceptable use. You must not use the website or products unlawfully; commit fraud or send spam; infringe anyone's intellectual property; or interfere with security — including uploading malware, probing or testing vulnerabilities, scraping, circumventing download limits, or accessing other users' accounts or orders.
Your account. Keep your login details confidential and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Payments. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. All products are one-time purchases; there are no subscriptions or automatic renewals. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms together with our Refund Policy below.
Service availability. We aim to keep the website and download links available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The products are provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The products are educational self-reflection resources, not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or crisis care, and make no promise of any particular outcome.
Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
Suspension and termination. We may suspend or terminate your account or download access for material breach of these terms, non-payment or chargebacks, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Refunded orders lose download access.
Changes and law. We may update these terms; the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs your order. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Michigan, where Everyday Digital Products is based.
14-day money-back guarantee.
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your order date. Refunds are processed by our payment provider and Merchant of Record, Paddle. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or email info@everydaydesigncompany.com. Refunds are returned through the original payment method, and download access for a refunded order ends. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Educational material, not health care.
Among Other Men is an educational self-reflection resource. It is not a clinically validated screening or diagnostic tool, and its scores cannot determine whether you have a health condition. It is not therapy, medical advice, mental-health treatment, or crisis support. Persistent or worsening symptoms deserve qualified professional support, regardless of your score. Email delivery within 24 hours.
Your PDF is delivered by email within 24 hours of successful payment, to the address used at checkout. If it does not arrive, check your spam and junk folders, then contact info@everydaydesigncompany.com. Secure download access remains active for 30 days from delivery; download and save your personal copy during that window. There is no physical shipment.
